Undelivered words I_artist's hair stitch on canvas_90x120cm_2021

This work portrays the period of isolation and disconnection felt through two lockdowns and the question of the life and death of human beings, which have arisen from the deaths of countless people throughout the pandemic. I depicted the fragmented emotions hovering at the boundary between life and death and countless indescribable narratives in the form of a letter to the unknown. Hair that falls off and continues to grow again contains human mortality and resilience. Moreover, just as Mary wiped Jesus’ feet with her hair in the Bible, hair implies the meaning of the highest courtesy for humble humans.
